Reading Gypsy Card in 4 Position.

Most readers pay attention to the combination of cards as negative card can effect the meaning of otherwise positive card. This is especially true if the reader doesn't want to use the near/far reading method. For example, the Baby card close to Unexpected Joy, will represent twins, but it also can be interpreted as a twice blessed child, showing a strong present of a spirit guide in your life's journey. Desire in a reading representing success, the card of dream to come true, whilst when it is next to the Visitor card it will represent enlightenment, life free of desires, wants, greed. You can use your own layouts in readings. At the end of this book you have Gypsy layout ideas or invent your own as you get better at it. For the Significator card you can use different cards, depends on the inquirer's question.

Each card is explained in four position, depends how close to a good or a bad card and how close or far to the significator card.

First position being when the card is far from the inquirer's card and it is positive. In this position for example the Cavalier card will mean you will receive good news.
Second position is medium, when the positive card is far from the inquirer but a negative card is next to it. For instance, when the Cavalier card is next to a bad card, it will foretell unexpected happy news
Third position is when the positive card is far from the inquirer but it is close to negative cards (for instance 2 negative cards) or clouds intervene on the dark side  with a positive card. For instance if the Cavalier card close to the dark side of the clouds card it will change the meaning from good news to news which will bring unpleasantness.
And finally the Fourth position, when the card is close to the inquirer's card. For example, the Cavalier card next to the inquirer will transform the meaning into unpleasant news instead of good news. However, you have to keep in mind that even bad news is worthwhile to receive as it might let you know that a relative who suffered from a terminal illness finally passed away and his/her long time suffering is over.

There are many type of Gypsy Cards and, whether Hungarian, Austrian or Italian are a system all on their own. Well, this is what the

arcanas. What is Arcana? Arcana translating as 'secrets or mysteries', hidden, concealed secrets. The word is originated from Latin

arcanus, from arcere ‘to shut up’, from arca ‘chest’. However, this word goes much further back than Latin, it's origin derived from Sanskrit

language 'arcana' translating to  worship, honor and it is also relating to the primordial Sun.
